Manual handling training
Manual handling training applies to most workplaces in the UK to some extent, whether people are engaged in heavy construction work or are working in an office environment. Health and Safety figures show there is little difference in the handling injury rate between manual and office workers. HSMC offers a short employee awareness course which can help employers reduce their risk levels, prevent injury and meet the legal obligations.
The training course below is aimed at employees however HSMC also offer a Manual Handling For Trainers course in which we can train selected employees to go on and train others in your workplace.
